Overview

Since 1953 the Division of Pediatric Cardiology has provided comprehensive cardiac care for all infants, children and adolescents with heart disease who live in the 15 county referral area of Central and Northern New York. Over many years our services have expanded to include fetal cardiology and the ongoing care of the ever-increasing number of patients with congenital heart disease who have reached adulthood. The Division is also the primary educational site for Upstate Medical University medical students, pediatric interns and residents. We provide consultations and ongoing care of patients with heart disease who are hospitalized in Syracuse. We also provide outpatient consultations and continuity care not only from our main office in Syracuse, but in clinics at Wilson Hospital (Johnson City), St. Lukes Hospital (Utica), Samaritan Hospital (Watertown), Claxton-Hepburn Hospital (Ogdensburg), and Oneonta.
