The treatment philosophy for the inpatient unit is to provide a comprehensive bio-psychosocial plan of care utilizing psychopharmacology, group and individual psychotherapy, therapeutic activities, occupational therapy, and psycho教育al groups within a therapeutic milieu. Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) is available as a treatment when clinically indicated.

The Inpatient 精神病学 Unit (5W) is a 25-bed adult psychiatric unit located at the Community Campus. It was established to admit voluntary and involuntary patients, 18 years and over, with major psychiatric diagnoses.
