The national trend of increasing copays and deductibles have caused some patients to make a choice between normal daily living expenses and their ability to purchase required medications.
While a primary focus of the outpatient pharmacy team will be to work with different departments within the health system to advance medication management toward a patient discharge, we understand that the high cost of medications makes this a difficult process.
The Outpatient Pharmacy foundation is there to support our hospital and clinic patients with medication copay and deductible assistance to advance discharges and increase compliance.
