Another great resource from the AAAS is myIDP. The Individual Development Plan or IDP is commonly referenced as an aid to help employees define and attain professional aspirations and skills. myIDP is an online career-planning tool tailored to meet the needs of PhD students and postdocs in the sciences.

LinkedIn is a great platform to allow current students and alumni the chance to connect and keep abreast of our Career Development events and announcements. It is also an excellent tool for providing job leads & 推荐. Group members will have the ability to participate in discussions.

CGS students and alumni are given sponsored membership to the New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS). The mission of the New York Academy of Sciences is to drive innovative solutions to society's challenges by advancing scientific research, 教育和政策. More specifically the NYAS is committee to supporting the development of current and future scientists and researchers using a number of projects and initiatives like 全球STEM联盟, 科学联盟,和 Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists.
